Vacation Time

by @ 7:56 am.

We are taking some vacation time. I know it’s something that’s not been done on the MacReviewCast very often, but we will be taking a week off now and then for the next few months over the holidays. We will always be available for emails and we will have bigger and better podcasts because of the time off. Look for two or three podcasts a month and the same great reviews and segments as always. We are not going anywhere, just taking a few extra moments to enjoy family and friends. See you next week.

If You had Trouble Downloading Episode #201 Enhanced

by @ 3:27 pm.

If you had trouble downloading episode 201, the enhanced version, specifically, if you received episode 200 again, you are not alone. Many folks have reported this to me. The only way I can figure to get around this iTunes hiccup was to delete your iTunes subscription and re-subscribe again. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
If you want to download the episode directly, you can use this link… : Episode 201 Enhanced.

Download Issues Should Be Resolved

by @ 9:59 am.

I know that several hundred of our listeners on the MacReviewCast have been experiencing horrible download speeds, or no download capability at all. For that I apologize and want to thank all of you for staying subscribed and for your patience. I think I finally have the problem handled, at least for episode 91.

I have the feed temporarily switched over to Libsyn servers starting with episode 91, and 91 enhanced. If you go into iTunes or your pod catching software and manually start the download again for episode 91, you should see that the speed is back to normal. You can also download it directly from the website in the shownotes.

I will keep uploading the episodes to Libsyn until all the problems with my original server are solved and the speeds get back to normal for everyone. Again, thank you so much for all your patience and understanding. Each and every listener is important to me and I thank you for your understanding.

Let me Ask a Favor

by @ 9:43 am.

If you have the time, can you please go to the iTunes page that is hosting the podcast and write a short review and rate the podcast? I am trying to get a little more attention from the iTunes Store, and maybe some reviews and ratings will help.
Thank you! Here is the link to the iTunes page.

MacReviewCast Survey

by @ 8:26 am.

I hate to send out posts unless it’s important for my subscribers. I understand you’ve filled out a ton or surveys for other podcasts, but it would be a great favor to me if you would spend 5 minutes to fill out a listener survey for the MacReviewCast. Please click on the link in this post and fill out the Podtrac survey. It will take about 5-10 minutes. Thank you!
