It was brought to my attention that iTunes is only giving users about 25 minutes of episode 64 of the MacReviewCast instead of the full 48 minutes. You can do two things to get the full podcast,
Just unsubscribe (clear) the Macreviewcast Podcast from your iTunes, that’s the whole listing itsel;f, not just the one episode and then re-subscribe to it by clicking on the iTunes link on the website, www.macreviewcast.com. This one..

Or you can listen to it straight from the website’s article. Sorry for any problems, something happened in iTunes, not sure exactly what.

Here is the recording of the contest drawing for the macCompanion 4 year anniversary. It’s a long one, about an hour and a half because of all the prizes we had to give away. Thank you to everyone that entered, and congrats to all the winners!
It was a tedious process in order to keep all the winners matched to the correct prize. Robert Pritchett will be emailing all the prize winners in the next few days.
Again, Thank you for listening and entering.

Noteable News of the Week
No Built-In Virtualization in 10.5?
Needham and Company analyst Charles Wolf says Phil Schiller informed him:
“I am so pleased to see [Apple promoting Parallels],” said Wolf. “I had a talk with Phil Schiller at the opening of the 5th Avenue Apple Store, and I asked him the question, ‘will Apple include a virtualization solution in [the next version of Mac OS X] Leopard?’ He said ‘absolutely not, the R&D would be prohibitive and we’re not going to do it. Our solution is dual boot.’ When I saw Parallels come out, I thought Apple would dis it, but this page suggests that Apple will actively support it. (via MacWorld)
Shareware App of the Week: GrandPerspective
GrandPerspective is a small utility application for Mac OS X that graphically shows the disk usage within a file system. It can help you to manage your disk, as you can easily spot which files and folders take up the most space. It uses a so called tree map for visualisation. Each file is shown as a rectangle with an area proportional to the file’s size. Files in the same folder appear together, but their placement is otherwise arbitrary.
Keyboard Shortcut of the Week
The Apple Pro Tip of the week is for people who want to put their Macs into sleep mode in 2 seconds of less directly from Apple:
Want the fastest way to put your Mac right into a deep, sleepy-bear hibernation-like sleep (no whirling fan, no dialogs, no sound — nuthin’ — just fast, glorious sleep). Just press Command-Option and then hold the Eject button for about 2 seconds.
Commercial Applications:
NetShred X 3.17 Released
Mireth Technology has released NetShred X 3.17, the latest version of its Internet track eraser that erases cache, history and email trash.
VoodooPad 3.0
Here are links for Audio and Video versions of his talk along with the complete list of the other speakers links as well. Enjoy
