The Mac ReviewCast welcomes you to our home and hope you subscribe to our podcast. We'll look at all the great software, hardware, websites and companies that make using a Mac something special.
Here’s the 29th episode of The MacReviewCast. Remember to send feedback and suggestions to surbits at gmail dot com, and also remember to vote for us at podcastalley.com. SurfBits.com is looking for a Mac blogger to help out. Send an email to surfbits at gmail dot com.
Robert Pritchett from the maccompanion.com joins us. Here is what we discuss.
The Tiger Switcher contest is over and the prizes should go out by the end of this coming week to the winners. We really appreciate all those who sent in their stories. We announce the winners.
Robert then reviews the books, PC Pest Control, Spy Chips, and Unite The Tribes. Christopher Duncan Joins him on macCompanion as a contributor. His websites are www.PracticalStrategyConsulting.com and http://www.showprogramming.com.
Here’s the freeware I look at during the podcast:
Do Something When: http://www.azarhi.com
CyberDuck: http://cyberduck.ch
Temperature Monitor: http://www.bresink.de/osx/TemperatureMonitor.html
1001: A Desktop Flickr Client: http://1001.kung-foo.tv/

I look back at the Portable Media and Podcast Expo and the conferences that stood lout in my mind and the most importantly, the people I finally was able to meet.
We make so many online friends these days, but we’re seldom able to meet them in person and shake their hands. This expo was a success in my eyes to bring us all together.
Jeff Powell discusses Apples new software, Front Row and Photo Booth. He also discusses the new Sony “Root Worm” that can affect your Mac.
