The Acorn
I try to stay away from writing about records I work with but I really like this record, work related be damned. Here is a cute little video for Flood Part 1. For a very brief review of their new record Glory Hope Mountain (Paper Bag Records) they remind me of a countrified version of The Talking Heads as covered by The Arcade Fire. I know sounds like a hipster nightmare that was so 2006 but somehow The Acorn pull it off tastefully and with style that makes it all their own.
